Stewarts v Stuarts, spellings may vary but our motorhome and caravan service stays constant
Whilst Stewart is agreed to be the earliest form of the name, thought to origiante from the 7th Century, Stuart could be said to be more modern, dating from the 16th Century.
More regal too, since the Stuart form was started by Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, who used the form when she lived in France as a child.
Stuarts Campervan and Caravan Servicing is closer to France than Scotland as the crow flies, and during the season repairs leisure vehicles for customers travelling from near and far; The Netherlands, Germany, New Zealand being the furthest flung this year, and of course, Scotland.
Although Stuarts Campervan and Caravan Servicing has no direct affiliations with Scotland
(or France), the origin of the word itself does ring true.
Stewart, or Stuart, is the old Scots name for Steward, meaning ‘keeper or guardian’, and Stuart himself takes pride in being the guardian of your motorhomes’ safety and the keeper of the condition of your caravan.
